In light of the upcoming April 2 election, Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) is offering a rebroadcast of two Here and Now election specials moderated by WPT Anchor Frederica Freyberg.

The Here and Now Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Candidates Special airs 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 29 on WPT. Pat Roggensack, who is running for a second term on the state’s high court, and Marquette University Law Professor Ed Fallone will express their judicial views and ideologies.

Here and Now Wisconsin Superintendent of Public Instruction Special, airing 9:30 a.m. Sunday, March 31, features incumbent Tony Evers and challenger Rep. Don Pridemore as they present their viewpoints on education policies and issues.

Video of both programs will be archived on the Web at wisconsinvote.org. The website, a partnership project of WPT and Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR), is an unbiased portal for Wisconsin voters to find polling places, learn about absentee voting regulations and review candidate profiles. Website visitors will find an archive of all of WPT and WPR political coverage from this election cycle and a toolkit to help voters seek out the truth in political advertisements. On election night, WisconsinVote.org will feature up-to-the-minute results.

Election night results also will be covered on WPR by co-anchors Frederica Freyberg of WPT and WPR’s Shawn Johnson.

Funding for Here and Now is provided, in part, by Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery Specialists LLC.

WPT is a service of the Educational Communications Board and University of Wisconsin-Extension.
