Wisconsin Public Television’s (WPT) live televised Auction is an annual tradition that invites viewers to take part in the fun, and become the winning bidder on merchandise and services from local businesses and individuals.
The WPT Auction features special theme night items plus articles of a general nature with offerings suited to every budget and taste. Articles up for bid include art, jewelry, vacations, things for home and businesses, gardening tools and equipment, sports items, tickets and memorabilia, and things for families and children.
The WPT Auction broadcast schedule is as follows:
7 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 Entertainment & Hobby
7 p.m. Thursday, May 30 Home & Garden
8 p.m. Friday, May 31 Sports
4-7 p.m. Saturday, June 1 Kids & Family
7 p.m. Saturday, June 1 Travel
4–7 p.m. Sunday, June 2 Marketplace
7–11 p.m. Sunday, June 2 Auction Showcase
Art items will be available throughout the Auction including prints of 2013 Commemorative Artist James Gill’s photograph “Spring Forest, Gallistel Woods.”

The WPT Auction is one of the largest community fundraising events in the state. Proceeds support WPT programs, outreach initiatives and events that serve to enrich the Wisconsin community.
Friends of WPT organizes the auction as part of its role as the citizen-support group for WPT in south-central Wisconsin.
