I've never used mint in a pie before and this experi-mint was a a success! Even though I was a bit overzealous with the filling — a little leakage never hurt anyone . . . welll. . . besides my oven — this pie turned into quite the achieve-mint!
Describe how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.
The mint sprigs I grabbed from my garden, and the cherries are a summer Wisconsin staple. I decorated with a little powdered sugar once the pie was cooled! A loving state silhouette.
