Blueberry Double Crust
Tell us about your proudest moment — or humble failure — in this week’s baking challenge.
The shortcrust recipe I used was very fragile, so the top of the pie doesn't look as nice as I was hoping. However, the crust was melt-in-your-mouth yummy when served!
Describe how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.
I used our fresh blueberries from our blueberry patch and topped the pie with a nod to our state wildflower--a wood violet rendered in dough and colored sugar.
