This was a real leap of faith, having never made a hand-raised pie or hot water crust. It tasted amazing, but how can one go wrong with a flaky, crispy crust wrapped around Wisconsin goodness?
Describe how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.
I made a Wisconsin-inspired poutine to layer inside my pie. Layers of Klement's brats parboiled in Capital Brewery Supper Club beer, Nueske's bacon, Shullsburg Creamery cheese curds, onions, and a bacon-cheddar gravy. It tasted like a night at Miller Park!
