Why Race Matters, a digital series elevating issues of importance affecting Wisconsin’s Black communities, returns to PBS Wisconsin with four all-new episodes. Stream the first episode now at whyracematters.org and on the free PBS App on all streaming devices and smart TVs. New episodes premiere each Tuesday through May 14.

PBS Wisconsin invites viewers to preview a selection of 2024 Wisconsin Film Festival entries in a special edition of Director’s Cut, airing 8 p.m. Monday, April 1. The program will also be available to stream at that time online and on the free PBS App on all streaming platforms.

PBS Wisconsin Education announces the launch of a new education series called The Look Back, which explores eras from Wisconsin’s history through artifacts. The collection, created for learners in grades 4-6, features 11 short episodes hosted by Wisconsin-based historians.

PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) will present the final round of the Madison Symphony Orchestra’s Bolz Young Artist Competition, featuring four of Wisconsin’s most talented high school musicians, in Wisconsin Young Artists Compete: The Final Forte.

PBS Wisconsin is pleased to announce a $5,000 gift from the Stateline Community Foundation’s Community Impact Grant Program to help make possible Wisconsin Hometown Stories: Beloit.
