Wisconsin Public Television Invites Educators to Edcamp Northwoods Event at Tomahawk Middle School

On Saturday, April 21, Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) will host a free Edcamp event, Edcamp Northwoods. Presented by WPT, Edcamp and PBS, Edcamp Northwoods invites area educators from public, private and home-based (home-school) educational programs to hold conversations, network and broaden their personal learning networks.

The participant-driven Edcamp Northwoods will feature sessions that are developed and facilitated by the teachers who are attending.

Educators from the Northwoods and across Wisconsin are invited to join their colleagues for a full day of learning. This innovative professional development opportunity allows participants to guide the day’s content by bringing ideas for a session they would like to lead or just an open mind, ready to discuss issues and opportunities in their classrooms.

WPT, Edcamp and PBS are partnering to build rich teacher communities in Wisconsin. At the center of this partnership is a shared belief that teachers are the heart of the learning ecosystem and deserve focused allies who can help them enhance their craft.

Edcamp Northwoods will be held on Saturday, April 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tomahawk Middle School, 1048 E. King Rd, Tomahawk, WI. This event is free, but registration is required. Please register on Eventbrite
