New Season of Around the Farm Table Premiering on Wisconsin Public Television Oct. 4

Around the Farm Table will once again serve up an intimate look at Wisconsin's farming landscape by shining a spotlight on Midwestern farmers and artisan food producers when the sixth season of the series premieres 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 on Wisconsin Public Television.

From a “Friendsgiving” feast prepared with the bounty of Wisconsin’s fall harvest to a celebration of Earth Day, the sixth season of the Wisconsin-produced series follows host Inga Witscher as she seeks out the best ingredients the state has to offer and produces fresh meals that celebrate Wisconsin’s landscapes and appetites.

Join fourth-generation organic dairy farmer Witscher and her friends at St. Isidore's Mead, her organic dairy farm near Osseo, and other locations across Wisconsin for new outings designed to expand viewers’ understanding of sustainable farming practices through stories, recipes and information — all delivered with a hearty dose of fun.

New episodes of Around the Farm Table air 7:30 p.m. Thursdays beginning Oct. 4. Visit wpt.org for additional broadcast information and full program videos.

Around the Farm Table is funded in part by Wisconsin Farmers Union, Heartland Credit Union and Friends of Wisconsin Public Television.
