Since the 1980-81 season, Wisconsin Public Television's Badger fans have selected the winner of the Jim Santulli 7th Man Award. Viewers cast their votes for the UW men's hockey player who gives his all on the ice and best represents the Badger trademarks of team spirit and good sportsmanship.
Named for the man who started Badger hockey broadcasts on WPT, the Jim Santulli 7th Man Award is presented at the annual Badger Hockey Banquet.
Voting for the 2009-10 season begins December 28, 2009.
