Public Television.
Thank you for tuning in to Badger Sports on Wisconsin Public Television. We've
been proud to carry Wisconsin Badger games on WPT for over 35 years. The tradition
of Badger football and men's basketball delayed broadcasts came to an end with
the 2006-07 season. Those games are now seen on the Big Ten Network or an ESPN
partner station as part of an agreement with the Big Ten Conference.
WPT will continue its long-standing tradition of UW men's hockey and women's
basketball broadcasts. And there will be more UW women's athletics on WPT with
tape-delayed broadcasts of UW women's volleyball and hockey.
Our coverage of Badger Sports has concluded for this season. Please check back
early this fall for our 2008-09 sports lineup.
