SPRING
Children in kindergarten through third grade were invited to enter their originally written and illustrated stories in the 14th-annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers & Illustrators Contest. The contest
ran from Jan.1 through March 21.
Winning stories for 2008 will be available for viewing soon.

The 10-annual Wisconsin PBS Kids Open House was
Aug. 3, 2007...

More than 1,200 kids and adults enjoyed games, activities and a special visit by Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and Wyatt from Super Why!

In addition to loads of creative fun and educational activities provided by Wisconsin Public Television, 10 community partners presented interactive activities for everyone to enjoy.

We hope you'll join us August 1, 2008 for the 11th-annual open house.

Community organizations present with activities, demonstrations and handout materials included: Aldo Leopold Nature Center and Nature Net, Dane County Humane Society, Henry Vilas Zoo, Kidlinks World, Madison Children's Museum, Madison Fire Department, South Central Library System, UW Hospital and Clinics Poison Prevention Education Center, Wisconsin Historical Museum, and Wisconsin Veterans Museum. Many offere multilingual print materials.
