My lemon meringue pie has a pie crust using my mother's recipe and involves lots of butter because butter makes everything better. It had a lemon filling that is perfect for the summer because it tastes like lemonade, and has a meringue top that reminds me of toasted marshmallows.
Any disasters? Did you take any risks? Proudest moment? Lessons learned the hard way? Tell us about it.
My proudest moment was the crunch of the meringue.
How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?
The Wisconsin twist I added was all of the delicious Wisconsin butter in the pie crust.
