Lakefront Churros. I made cinnamon sugar churros with a chocolate stout dipping sauce.
Now that you’ve survived The Great British Baking Show’s first-ever batter challenge, what words of wisdom can you share?
Make sure you always use the right size piping tips. And if your piping bag busts in the middle of you making your baked good, stay calm, take care of the problem, then move on. (That may have happened to me today.)
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.
I made a chocolate stout dipping sauce, using a local Milwaukee Brewery's beer (Lake Front Brewery), who also uses a local Milwaukee cafe's coffee (Fuel Cafe) to infuse their beer. So the dipping sauce is "double local."
