Preview Screening: The Vietnam War (Green Bay)

Join Wisconsin Public Television in Madison for a 60-minute preview of The Vietnam War, a new 10-part documentary series produced by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick. The screening will be accompanied by the exhibit Wisconsin Remembers: A Face for Every Name and will be followed by a panel discussion with area veterans talking about their experiences and reflecting on the film preview.
The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required. 

The 18-hour documentary film tells the epic story of one of the most consequential, divisive, and controversial events in American history as it has never before been told on film. Visceral and immersive, the series explores the human dimensions of the war through revelatory testimony of nearly 80 witnesses from all sides Americans who fought in the war and others who opposed it, as well as combatants and civilians from North and South Vietnam.
 
The Vietnam War premieres on Wisconsin Public Television on Sunday, September 17 at 7 p.m.
