30-Minute Music Hour: Live in the WPT Studio

Tuesday, March 21
30-Minute Music Hour continues its new season of live music. Three musical acts – Dead Horses, Redshift Headlights and J. Hardin – perform live in the Wisconsin Public Television studios on Tuesday, March 21. Join us in our studio audience!
Here is the line-up for the performances on Tuesday, March 21:

2:15 p.m. - Dead Horses
Milwaukee-based band Dead Horses crafts a timeless sound, informed as much by modern folk as it is by traditional roots music. Known for high-energy performances, as well as intimate listening room experiences, Dead Horses have been touring tiressly with heavy pickers and players in tow in support of their latest album, Cartoon Moon. Please share the Facebook event page with your friends and family who might want to join us in studio or tune in live. More info: deadhorses.net

4 p.m. - Redshift Headlights
Redshift Headlights is a six-piece indie rock band from Oshkosh, performing songs from their debut album INSIDE VOICES, a richly orchestrated folk rock album recorded at Rock Garden Studio in Appleton, which introduces 10 different characters each telling their own part of our united American story. Please share the Facebook event page about this performance with friends and family who might want to join us in studio or tune in live. More info: redshiftheadlights.com

5:15 p.m. - J. Hardin
J. Hardin is a Madison-based songwriter whose lyrically driven craft has drawn comparisons to "the pioneer instincts of Levon Helm with the rapture and intelligence of Bonnie 'Prince' Billy." On the heels of his most recent release, The Piasa Bird, Hardin has toured across the U.S. and Europe, and has shared the stage with artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Sara Watkins, and Over the Rhine. Please share the Facebook event about this performance with friends and family who might want to join us in studio or tune in live. More info: jhardin.net
