Wild Kratts “Rainforest Week”

Spring is finally arriving here in Wisconsin!  It’s time to start thinking about getting outside, digging in the dirt, watching for animals returning from their travels, and making new discoveries!  All month long, PBS Kids will be celebrating the outdoors and we’ll be here with lots of great ideas to play along at home- indoors or out!

This week, the Kratt brothers are all about exploring the wonders of the rainforest, including three brand new episodes of Wild Kratts! On Monday, April 1, the week kicks off with the brothers investigating the world of the Spider monkey in “Bugs or Monkey?” On Tuesday, April 2, Chris and Martin go on a wild cat adventure on with “Shadow: The Black Jaguar,” and on Wednesday, April 3 they go in search of an obscure rainforest creature in “Rainforest Stew.”

Your family can extend the learning by exploring the outdoors in your very own neighborhood!  PBS Parents has great ideas for getting your kids to tune in to nature.   Fun games and activities are available at pbskids.org/outdoors, too!
