Volunteering With Kids

The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is sometimes referred to as "Giving Tuesday."  Volunteering is a great way to teach your kids how to give the all important gift of time.  You can make a major time commitment, like organizing a food drive for your local food pantry, or something small such as donating a toy to a toy drive.  Find something that interests your child, is fun, and works with your family's schedule.  Involving your kids in these efforts now will set them up for a lifetime of community service.
