Storybook Castles and Newspaper Forts

The bitter cold weather has kept many Wisconsinites indoors lately- Are you running out of ways to keep your kids entertained?  Here are a few fun activities that encourage creative play and use materials you are likely to already have around the house.

Storybook castles can be made with a cardboard box, some ribbon or yarn, and paint/glitter/your imagination!  Newspaper forts can be great for learning about architecture, engineering, and the finished fort can be used in all kinds of creative play!
