Grow Green Kids

As Earth Week winds down, we are reminded that we encourage our children to be compassionate to others – to siblings, to classmates, to animals. Why not encourage compassion towards our environment, too? Recycling, conserving water, reducing trash – there are lots of easy ways to introduce your children to caring for the environment. You could start by turning things that might otherwise go into the trash – milk caps, egg cartons, fruit containers, cardboard boxes – into art projects, or simply by taking reusable bags to carry your shopping home. Check out some simple ways to help protect the earth and encourage your kids to be environmentally conscious here.
