What’s on your mind, Wisconsin: Immigration
Reporter Adam Schrager hears from voters all over the state who are concerned with the direction of immigration policy in the upcoming elections.
It’s been sitting, right, and it's-- it's overdue. A lot of unnecessary deportations have been taking place, families being broken. And the major thing is the unwillingness to offer opportunities for people to drive licenses, or to have driver's license. I think that, you know, that we all want to have safe roads, but yet we don't even want to create any opportunities for people to have, you know, insurances and be able to drive safely.
The amount of programs that illegal immigrants are provided with today, and qualify for today, is absolutely mind-boggling The amount of money that it costs America to take care of these people is far, far more than anybody really understands, or is widely communicated. And the cost of that is on all of our backs at a time when we can least afford it.
