Troy and Frances Perkins, "Tractor for Sale," "Brothers," and "Test Day"

Premiere date: Jan 13, 2009

"Brothers"

In the film, three brothers face the difficult decision of whether or not to sell their farm — and thereby sacrifice generations of family history — for a considerable payout or to continue struggling for survival in the face of modern-day development. To make matters more complicated, each brother has his own set of problems to overcome. Ultimately, the brothers must come together to decide if they want to preserve the past or look to the future.

"Tractor For Sale"

A laid-back, honky-tonk tale of love, loss, and a tractor. Set in the Fox Valley region, a farmer tries frantically to sell a tractor to fund a last-minute anniversary gift.

"Test Day"

A comedic short that showcases what happens when a major slacker shows up completely unprepared for a major exam.

With the help of a grant, a group of UW-Fond du Lac and UW-Oshkosh students with a wide variety of majors and no film background worked with Director France Perkins and Producer Troy Perkins on the film.
