Budding young authors from kindergarten through third grade are invited to submit their originally written and illustrated stories for judging in the local PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest.

The contest offers young children an opportunity to use their creative storytelling, writing and drawing skills. Prizes are awarded in each grade level for achievement in writing and illustration.

Winners from each grade level will be honored at a May awards ceremony to be held at the Sun Prairie Public Library.

Contest rules and applications are available for download at wpt.org/kids or by phoning 608-265-5035. All entries must be received by Friday, March 25.
