Wisconsin Public Television Invites Viewers to Gather Around the Farm Table for a Brand-New Season
Around the Farm Table will once again serve up an intimate look at Wisconsin's farming landscape by shining a spotlight on Midwestern farmers and artisan food producers when the third season of the series premieres 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 on Wisconsin Public Television and Milwaukee Public Television.
From a delightful, locally sourced “thank you” lunch for her farmer friends to a visit to an herb farm to brew a fresh cup of tea, the third season of the Wisconsin-produced series follows host Inga Witscher as she seeks out the best ingredients the region has to offer and produces fresh meals that celebrate Wisconsin’s landscapes and appetites.
Join fourth-generation organic dairy farmer Witscher and her friends at her organic dairy farm near Osseo, St. Isidore's Mead, and other locations across Wisconsin for new outings designed to uplift our understanding of sustainable farming practices through stories, recipes and information — all delivered with a hearty dose of fun.
Around the Farm Table airs 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Nov. 19. Visit wpt.org for additional broadcast information and full program videos.
Around the Farm Table is funded in part by Wisconsin Farmers Union, L.E. Phillips Family Foundation Inc., Hungry Turtle Institute, Heartland Credit Union and Friends of Wisconsin Public Television.
