Chad Myers is chief engineer at Wisconsin Public Television (WPT). Besides managing WPT's engineering staff, his responsibilities include researching, purchasing and overseeing the installation of broadcast equipment.
Before joining WPT, Myers served as chief engineer for WSAW-TV in Wausau and prior to that as engineering shop superintendent at WLWT in Cincinnati.
He earned a bachelor's degree at Southern Illinois University where he studied film. Myers also served in the U.S. Navy where he received training in electronics.
A native of Freeport, Ill., he currently resides in McFarland with his wife, two children, two dogs and a cat.
